2006 Meeting
The
VCOPS meeting in Richmond was held on Thursday June 29, 2006. We
met
at the RCOP office 3204 Cutshaw Avenue in Richmond. The meeting began at
10:30AM.
Agenda:
1. Discuss
the 2006 Legislative initiatives. Bring a list of your thoughts.
2. Discuss general funding of the VCOPS’ Legislative program.
3. Discuss organizing and VALEO.
4. Discuss the VCOPS PAC Fund.
5. Take nominations for President, Vice President and Secretary Treasurer.
Elections will be held at the Fall meeting.
6. Discuss new issues.
7. Spring/Summer VCOPS Newsletters to be handed out.
We will
have union leadership training at our Fall Meeting in
Northern Virginia. (Alexandria
in Sept) Date to be confirmed.
