
The 20th Annual Candlelight Vigil will be held at the National Law
Enforcement Officers Memorial on Tuesday, May 13, 2008. Sponsored by the
National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF), the event will begin
at 8:00 p.m. at the Memorial grounds, located at Judiciary Square, in the 400
block of E Street, NW, Washington, DC. A reading of the names newly engraved on
the Memorial immediately follows the ceremony. Everyone is welcome to attend; no
tickets are required. Additional National Police Week events will be posted as
information becomes available.
